Welcome to Rose of Sharon Transitional Living for Women Inc. website. The company was founded in 2012 by Rhonda A. Thompson in her journey to ending domestic violence. It is her vision to take women through the many phases of healing restoration while refining their inner and outer self imagine. Our primary focus is emergency/transitional housing with focus our many other services which includes: crisis intervention, providing food, advocacy, counseling for victim/child, support groups, and. Clients will also benefit from workshops on financial planning, pre-employment training, life skills, drug & alcohol prevention and parenting skills.We are a 501c3 tax deductible organization so feel free to support us today.
Rose of Sharon Transitional Living for Women Inc. serves women and children of the Greater Metro Atlanta Area. Our first priority is to locate a safe haven for women and children of Domestic Violence and Homelessness and providing supportive services through restoration, hope, empowerment, advocacy, education while equipping them to become self-sufficient survivors.
ROS is a non-profit 501c3 organization primarily created to assist in locating and providing a secure shelter for battered women and their children. Our organization is committed to increase awareness about the growing problem of domestic violence in the Atlanta, GA . Rose of Sharon Transitional Living for Women Inc. provides free crisis intervention and advocacy to women with children that are victims of domestic violence while providing a safe haven for starting a new life. In addition, ROS will focus on working to eliminate violence against women and children through education and social change. Our primary services will include: crisis intervention, providing food, emergency/transitional shelter, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, intensive case management, counseling for victim/child and support groups. Clients also benefit from workshops on financial planning, pre-employment training, life skills, drug & alcohol prevention and parenting skills.
